    Love me some Square Pie Guys. One of my favorite pizza spots in SF. Love that it's open later until 9:30pm. Finished an event late and needed something comforting and nourishing. Ellen Supreme - vodka sauce, pepperoni, italian sausage, onion, pickled pepper, mushroom medley - one of my go to pizzas. Super savory, mostly classic array of toppings with a unique vodka sauce spin. Samin's Summer Pie - white sauce, with a spicy cherry tomato salad, sun-dried tomato vinaigrette drizzle - summer seasonal item brings a lighter approach to the heavy, thick pizza with a plethora or vibrant tomatoes. Cheesy Bread - side or red sauce - only $9 and the size of a whole pizza. Cheesy and very filling. Easy to share for 2-4 people. Square Pie Guys pizzas might only be 4 square slices but these slices are thick and hefty. One to two slices is more than enough for a meal so every pizza easy becomes 2-3 delicious meals.

    Update: Owner reached out. Original review TLDR: They didn't tell me the pizza I ordered 3+ hours in advance was never made. Couldn't issue me a refund, walked away empty handed. No text or call. Today, I gave them another try. Pizza was excellent, a good take on Detroit-style pizza. Detroiter approved.

    I was blown away by how tasty the pizza is here. Since moving back to NorCal/SF, I've rediscovered my love of pizza, and this place satisfied the craving. The square pizza is somewhat reminiscent of deep dish because it's so thick but still unique on its own and definitely better in my opinion. I opted to build my own custom pizza since I wanted a specific meat/veggie combo. I selected the red sauce and cupping pepperoni for something classic and added grilled onions and mushrooms. It was absolutely everything I wanted in a pizza. I'd barely eaten all day, so I devoured about half of it in one sitting and then had leftovers the next day. I can't wait to come again for another slice of pizza pie!

    My SO suggested this place and I was a little reluctant to try. I am so happy he suggested this place because the pizza is so crispy and fresh!! I hadn't tried detroit style pizza and since then I have been craving it. This place is a must and although the price is a bit steep, this place is well worth it
